Yet another Cleveland connection...

This statue of Esther Hobart Morris is in front of the Wyoming capital building. Morris was a leader in the American woman's suffrage movement. She was also the first woman to serve as a justice of the peace in the United States.

In 1895, at age 80, she was elected a delegate to the national suffrage convention in Cleveland, Ohio.
What a nice surprise to uncover that connection - we stopped to snap her photo just because we thought she was beautiful!
